Secretary With Benefits

In May 2009, an attorney post an add on craigslist in the "adult gigs" section for a secretary/legal assistant entitled, "Loop lawyer hiring secretary/legal assistant". Along with a basic duty description he requested the applicant send in pictures and measurements along with their resume. After he had received a reply to his add, he sent a responsive email letting her know the "additional duties" she would be required to do for him and his partner. 1. I just read about this in WSJ. Now that's really going above and beyond your job duties!

  2. This story is both ridiculous and comical at the same time. If it were not for the internet, no doubt this man and his partner would not be this stupid or have the balls to seek out a person for this "position". Honestly, how could anyone really believe that, on either end of the deal, this would work out with no reprocussions on a permanent basis ? Obviously, this lawyer and his partner chose to be oblivious and/or naieve to not realize this would blow up in their faces. This just proves that you should never mix business and pleasure.
