America is known for the everyday lawsuits. However, if we limit the medical lawsuits it could potentially save us money. Doctors give a lot of unnecessary test just so that they can protect themselves if something was to go wrong. Not becuase we need them. They are protecting themselves from the "everyday" law suits. Originally, I was a pre-med/bio major. In researching the field, I found that many doctors felt that malpractice insurance was killing their industry. Human error and malicious intent aside, doctors should be allowed to practice medicine without the constant fear that every medical diagnosis would lead to serious repercussions or spell the end for their career.
