BUSINESS AND THE LAW.

President ROOSEVELT was disposed to give serious attention to the protests of business men that, under the Anti-Trust law as it now stands and as it has been interpreted, large industrial concerns could not legrally carry on their business in this country. That was the view taken by Judge LACOMBE when he felt constrained judicially to declare the Tobacco Trust to be an unlawful combination in restraint of trade.
