Tiger Woods Update

In case you're not Tiger'ed out yet, here's a little more news to hold you over 'till the next mistress comes forward to claim her 15 minutes of shame... err, fame.
Tiger Woods has announced on his website that he will be taking a break from professional golf:
"It may not be possible to repair the damage I've done, but I want to do my best to try... After much soul searching, I have decided to take an indefinite break from professional golf. I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person."
Rumor has it that wife Elin gave her cheating husband an ultimatum: Quit golf and stay home to regain my trust or I walk. It's apparent that Tiger has made his choice and considering his past, this seems to be the smartest choice he has made in years!
Now how could any woman even consider staying with a man that cheated on them with not one woman but at least 15 (two of those being porn stars... eww)?!
Elin, a child of divorce herself, is thinking of her babies like any loving mother would. She doesn't want her children to grow up with divorced parents and she is going to do all she can to pull the family together, for her children. That is a strong woman! I admire her willingness to work this mess out. To be honest, I don't know if I would be that strong. 15 women!!! I would forgive, but would I forget? Probably not. The faces of those women would haunt me forever.
On his website, Tiger is asking for the privacy he and his family needs for "personal healing."
I think we've all indulged ourselves enough with the Woods' personal drama; it's time to move on (what's Paris up to these days? Is LiLo back in rehab or what?). I hope we can all grant Tiger's request and let this family begin mending their wounds. Clearly these are deep wounds and they will take lots of time, but the young little lives at stake are worth it. Here's hoping for a happy ending.

If your man cheated on you with 15 women, what would he have to do to regain your trust?

  1. It always confused me when famous or incredibly skilled people do unfounded stupid things. Take for instance O.J.' s recent botched "heist". The man was aquited of murder and rather than laying low, he does something like that. I suppose for everything that we can do thats positive, we balance it out with something bad, or even worse, something stupid.

  2. He may have not forseen it, but his transgressions are going to lead to a downfall as a golfer, a businessman, and maybe even a person altogher. No one is going to see him in the same light. Sponsers are going to start pulling him from ads, no one will endorse him, and his leave from golf might turn into forever. He once had the world in his palms, what is left of that now?
